The NUX Cerberus Guitar Effect Pedal is built for guitarists who want powerful multi-effects in a compact, stage-ready unit. It combines fully analogue drive and distortion circuits with flexible digital effects, so you can shape your core tones without sacrificing character. Each effect block, including drive, modulation, delay, and reverb, can be used on its own or together, giving you total control of your sound chain.
Onboard IR loading and MIDI support add serious flexibility. You can load your own cabinet impulses, use it direct into a PA, and control everything from a MIDI foot controller. With USB connectivity for updates and an intuitive layout for quick tweaks, Cerberus works well in rehearsals, on stage, or as part of a larger rig.
Analog tone meets digital flexibility
The drive and distortion sections of Cerberus use fully analog circuitry to maintain the warmth and response of traditional stompboxes. These can be switched independently, allowing you to keep your existing pedalboard setup and add Cerberus just for effects, or use the full signal chain. The result is flexible tone-shaping that keeps your core sound intact.
Switchable effect blocks for custom chains
Each effect block including modulation, delay, and reverb can be used on its own or in series. You can assign footswitches, change routing, and store up to 128 presets. This lets you move between sounds mid-set without scrolling through menus. You can build subtle enhancements, ambient layers or fully dialled-in lead tones as needed.
Built-in IR loader for direct tones
Cerberus includes an impulse response loader, so you can run straight into a PA, audio interface, or FRFR speaker without an amp. Load your preferred cabinet impulses via USB and assign them to specific patches. Ideal for fly gigs, home recording, or silent practice when space and volume are limited.
MIDI and USB for total control
With MIDI in and out, Cerberus fits easily into more complex setups. Trigger program changes, sync time-based effects, or link it with a controller. The USB port lets you manage impulse responses and update firmware, keeping your pedal performing at its best without extra hassle.
