The Epiphone Slash Appetite Burst Les Paul is a signature guitar designed in collaboration with legendary guitarist Slash. It is a modified version of the classic Les Paul guitar with some unique features that reflect Slash's preferences and playing style.

The guitar features a solid mahogany body with a AAA flame maple top, providing a warm, rich tone with a pronounced midrange and good sustain. The neck is also made of mahogany and features a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets.

The pickups are Epipone Alnico II Pro humbuckers, which offer a vintage-inspired sound with a smooth, warm tone and excellent clarity. The guitar also features a LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, providing excellent tuning stability and sustain.

MAHOGANY BODY

When used as the body material on a Les Paul, mahogany can deliver a fat, beefy tone with excellent sustain and projection. It offers a strong foundation for the guitar's pickups and enhances the natural resonance of the instrument.

LOCKTONE TUNE-O-MATIC BRIDGE

The LockTone feature refers to the inclusion of small screws on either side of the bridge, which are designed to lock the bridge securely onto the guitar body. This helps to prevent the bridge from shifting or moving during playing, which can cause tuning instability and affect the guitar's overall tone.

The Tune-O-Matic design provides excellent intonation and adjustability, allowing guitarists to fine-tune the string height and intonation for each individual string. The bridge consists of individual saddles that can be adjusted for each string, providing accurate tuning across the fretboard.
