Advanced Jumbo Body

The Epiphone EJ-160E features a sloped shoulder advanced jumbo body, ensuring that players benefit from outstanding tonal depth and projection. The advanced jumbo offers a slightly bigger sound than the similar looking dreadnought body shape. The solid spruce top will mature over time, rewarding regular playing with a richer, more open tone. Mahogany back and sides offer an element of balance to the sound of the EJ-160E, responding well to all playing dynamics from soft through to hard.

Unique Pickup System

The EJ-160E features the same unique pickup style that was made famous by the Beatles during so many of their live shows and tours. A mini humbucker sits discreetly between the end of the fingerboard and the sound hole. Unlike more traditional acoustic pickups positioned near the saddle of the bridge, this mini humbucker outputs a warm and mellow tone. A pair of Les Paul style top hat dials control the master volume and master tone.
